It was a big day in our home. James helped Daddy take down and move the crib to Baby Sister's room. He LOVED every second of it. He knows just what to do with those tools!
Setting up the crib again...
Same crib, girlified! :) I'm excited to see the nursery start to come together! We have a lot of decorating to do and I'll post pictures of those projects as we finish them...
And James in his big boy bed. I can hardly believe it. I video taped a lot, too, because I feel like this is such a big transition! We gave James a new blanket with firetrucks and cars on it, along with a few new books, and...big boy toothpaste! The big bed is growing on him. As far as we can tell, he only got up and wandered around once during his first nap this afternoon. What we wouldn't give to be a fly on the wall in his room when we leave him in there!

I've been wondering if you had made the switch to the big boy bed yet. He looks so grownup sitting on his new bed! I too would like to be a fly on his wall! So many changes in store for him but what a lucky little boy to be so loved and cherished by so many people. Love, Mom H
Loved this post! I can't wait to see a girly room! James does look so grown up on that bed. It actually made me cry a little... When did we become grown-ups with kids? Love you!
Do you have any girlie sheets yet? I couldn't tell. I LOVE the pictures of James and Mark taking the crib apart, that was a great idea to involve him, I'm sure it made hime feel like a very BIG boy! (And of course he is!!)
