This little boy is starting to get into everything. Although he doesn't do much more than 'bunny hop' forward right now, he does slide and scoot backward pretty efficiently to get into and under all sorts of things. I've found him underneath our coffee table several times. He seems to gravitate toward paper, coupons, and magazines! He just loves the crinkly sound they make. I don't think crumpling paper is so bad for him; it's the eating of paper that I'd like to avoid...so I'm going to be working on baby-proofing some things in the next few weeks. One piece of exciting news in our home is James' new tooth! His first! It just 'popped' out on Saturday. It's nearly impossible to see it, because he's always playing with it with his tongue. And it's pretty short still. But we can feel it with our fingers and it comes in a little more each day. Other than that, there's not much else going on here. We're really enjoying getting out for walks in the stroller most week days.

Yea for the tooth! Was he very cranky or feverish with it? It would be cool if he was one of those babies that doesn't have too much trouble with teeth (that is until one of your future children turns out to be one of those and you're spoiled from James!)
Love you guys! Happy baby proofing!
I am so excited to see you all & especially James this weekend!! A tooth too - he's growing up so fast already!
Cute picture! I miss James sooo bad! Will you be at Jesse's graduation? We will-hope to see you! My kids always loved it when I'd tap their baby spoon on their new tooth--made a cool clicking sound, and they'd get so proud!
